3 Things I’m Thankful for This October

1. Getting to See Family

I know I already mentioned this in the previous post, but it was really lovely to see my family. I hadn’t seen them in over 2 years, and I was originally meant to go down to see everyone in August but I got covid which put a stop to those plans.

It was such a lovely day, and it was great to see kids spend time with family members that they don’t get to see often.

Cuddles with these two are the best.

2. Winter is Coming

It’s wet, windy and cold, and I’m loving every moment of it. I hated September, it was too hot and didn’t feel like Autumn. This month however the temperature has dropped, the nights are getting longer. It means cosy nights in, spending time under blankets watching films. Which is one of my favourite things to do. I also, weirdly enjoy getting up in the mornings when it’s still dark outside. I’m not too sure why I like it so much, but it’s something I’ve always enjoyed since I was little

3. Preparing for Christmas

Yes, I said the C word, but I’ve started preparing, and I don’t think I’m only one. I started buying presents, decor and various others knick knacks. I know to somel this might seem a bit premature, especially as we’re only in October but Christmas is the one thing I tend to be organised about. Also with last year having all the lockdowns and this year issues with distribution, I’m not taking any chances.
