Half Term has got Me Going

Maybe I shouldn’t of booked the week off work, and just left my husband to it (this is a joke, promise). It’s been a busy week so far, we’ve gone cross country to see family in the first time in over 2 years. We had a lovely time, and it was especially special as I got to see my Nana, and she got to see the kids, which made the 12 hours plus of travelling we did over 2 days certainly worth it.

We got back on Tuesday and since then have had plans everyday and pretty much are booked up for the rest of week. While it’s way more hectic a half term than its been in the last few years, its really nice to have plans. It feels like we’re getting back to normal and the kids are getting a chance to properly socialise, which is nice.

I imagine that next few holidays might be a little bit quieter and easier for us, but this is the first holiday we’ve had that were we’re not in lockdown and none of us are sick. So we’re making the most of it and I’m loving every moment of it.

How’s your half term going?
