1. Sigi starting Playgroup and Frey starting Nursery
My babies are growing up, honestly I don’t know whether to cry or to jump for joy. They’re both going three full days a week and Frey is going a additional two afternoons. Both are loving it (although Frey did cry today at drop off), Sigi especially, as it’s the first time she’s been able to interact with kids her own age.
With Frey it’s also been great, the school is very understanding of his additional needs and work with us to provide the best care and support for him. It’s giving both kids a routine and structure that they both need, especially after the last eighteen months.

2. My Husband
I feel this one doesn’t get enough love on this blog, but we celebrated being together ten years along with our sixth wedding anniversary this month.
He’s been amazing these last few months, with my mental health not being the best as well as contracting covid in the middle of the Summer holidays. He’s been really encouraging, kind and patient, which is just what I’ve needed.
3. Buying a Tumble Dryer
This one, is the result of the man above, he was really insistent that we get one but I was really reluctant too. He kept going on about it, and eventually I agreed to get one, and I’m so glad I did. We no longer have 5 airers around the house (no, this isn’t an exaggeration) and while we still have washing, it’s how more manageable than it has been for the last few years.
