If you’ve read this blog before, then you’ll know that Autumn/Winter are my favourite times of year. I love layering up, cosy nights in and all the hot chocolate I can drink. I’m also a sucker for all the holidays, especially Halloween.

So you can imagine that I have not been enjoying our unusually warm September at all. Thankfully though it seems to finally turning to Autumn. The days are getting shorter and the nights are getting longer. While it’s still warmer than I would like it to be, it’s cooler than it was a week ago. Which means I’ve started planning, not just for Halloween and Christmas (yes, I said the C word in September) but for little things as well. I love taking the kids for walks during this time of the year, there’s just something really magical about walking through the fallen leaves with the kids laughing, running circles around me.
After last year, I really want to be able to create more memories with the kids, especially are that they are getting older and are able to understand what’s going on, unlike previous years. This time of year is the most magical time for me and I want it to be the same for my children.
