3 Things I’m Grateful For This August

1. My Health

I got covid earlier this month, it wasn’t fun. I spent the first week feeling terrible and really out of it, thankfully though after that first week, I’m now nearly completely recovered. The only thing is I still can’t smell anything. Which considering how bad it could of been, is something I can live with. Although it is a bit inconvenient.

2. Seeing Old Friends

I managed to see one of my oldest friends at the beginning of August. I hadn’t seen her since January 2020 and it was lovely to be able to go and see her and just have a catch-up. After the last 18 months or so, it was great day and hopefully the start of me being able to see more friends and family who I haven’t seen in a long time.

Sigi loved the Zoo.

3. Days Out

Even though I spent a large part of August self-isolating, we still managed to do several days out with the kids, which meant the world to me. Especially as we were able to take them to the zoo, which was something I really wanted to do this Summer. It was an awesome day out and one we all enjoyed. Sigi was particularly taken with the stone statues, as you can see above.
