1. Good For The Environment
This was one of the main reasons I got back into thrifting in the last year or so. I’ve really been trying to be more environmentally conscious and buying second hand is a great way to do it.
2. Saves Money
I definitely love this one, I’ve managed to get some amazing pieces for a fraction of the cost of what they would of cost brand new.
3. Gets You Out Of Your Comfort Zone
I find I’m far more willing to look at things that I would never consider wearing if I had bought them brand new from the high street. I’m not too sure why, but I just seem to be way more open minded when I’m thrifting.
4. Finding Hidden Treasures
I managed to get some truly amazing pieces for my wardrobe, including vintage items. I love diving into the racks and coming out with some amazing new pieces.
5. Able to Get Discontinued Brands
This one I love a lot, there are a few brand (especially alternative ones) that no longer exist, but I’ve still managed to get items from brands that no longer exist. Some of now now my favourites and staples in my wardrobe.
