30 Things To Do Before I’m 30 Update.

So, it’s been a while since I did an update about my 30 Things To Do Before I’m 30 challenge. Well, so the first thing is I’ve managed to cross several more items off the list, and considering I’ve been in lockdown for majority of the year, I’m quite impressed with myself. I’ve also got several that are ongoing, that I should be able to cross off my list before my birthday in April. So all in all, I’m feeling pretty good about it.

What I’ve managed to cross off so far:

Go to Drayton Manor (We did this for Frey’s birthday, it was such a lovely day out.)

Have a night away from the kids with my husband. (We didn’t go anywhere, my very lovely mother-in-law -who helps with childcare- took the kids for a night, back when restrictions had lessened. It was amazing, I actually slept until 10am for the first time in forever).

In case anyone is wondering why I don’t get lie in’s. This is why.

Cover up my old tattoo. (Also happened when we weren’t in lockdown. I had a tattoo that I’ve wanted to cover up for ages, and I’m so glad I was able to get it done. It just make me feel better about myself)

Get a 100 followers on the blog. (This one literally happened last week, and I’m feeling pretty proud of myself. It might not seem like alot to some, but to me is quite an achievement.)

Buy matching outfits for me and the kids, specifically Halloween and Christmas pyjamas. (Me and Sigi matched on Christmas day, it wasn’t pyjamas, but I’m crossing it off my list either way and I got the photographic evidence to show off (read: embarrassed them) to my kid’s friends when they’re older.)

Despite how much I’ve managed to do, because of the way the last year has gone, the likelihood of me finishing the list is slim to none. With that in mind, I’ve decided to give myself some more time to complete all the tasks on my list. I don’t know if it’s going to take me an extra six months, or another year in total, but I’m not going to stress about it. If this year has taught me anything, it’s that things don’t always go to plan and trying to set a deadline on certain things just isn’t going to work. So I’m going with the flow, and going to see how it goes.
