1. Go for a Haircut
. . . And re-colour. So I re-dyed my hair a few weeks ago and I hate it. It was an impulse decision that I regret, now don’t get me wrong I like the colour but then I washed it and remembered why I don’t dye my hair purple anymore. The colour fades quickly out of my hair and goes very patchy once faded. Now I don’t trust myself to fix this mess (it’s requires bleaching my hair again and I’m going to leave that to the professionals) so I’m stuck until lockdown is lifted, oh the joy.
2. Go To Soft Play
Any other parent miss soft play. A place where you’re kids can run around like maniacs, without being anywhere near anything breakable, except for other kids of course. And you can sit down with a cup of tea for 5 minutes while they play, and by play, I mean scream and run around. It was pure bliss.
3. Have Some Waffles
Me and a very good friend love waffles, especially from our local desert bar, when we go we always order the same thing (even though we say we’re going to order something different everytime) and it’s become a tradition of ours. I can’t wait until we’re able to go again and I can order a coke float with a strawberry shortcake waffles, and have a good old gossip.

4. See My Family and Friends
I miss my family, I miss my village. I miss seeing my kids interact with they’re grandparents, aunts, uncles and family friends. I just want to give everyone a big hug and have a sit down and catch up with everyone, while the kids play with each other.
5. Do Some Non-essential Shopping.
I miss shopping, I know it’s swallow, but I miss just walking around the shops and having a look around. It’s a nice way to get out of the house and I’m looking forward to the day I can go again and just spend the day pottering around the shops.
What’s the thing you can’t wait to do once lockdown is lifted?
