I can’t believe that it’s been a month since I gave birth to my beautiful baby daughter but here we are.
Even though she’s only a month old, I can already see parts of her personality starting to peek through. She’s very inquisitive and much calmer than her big brother was at this age. That being said, she’s not afraid to let you know when she’s hungry or unhappy. Although she only seems to be unhappy when we put her down.
As for feeding, I’ve sadly had to stop breastfeeding and I was expressing instead but I’ve now had to stop that as well. It’s incredibly hard to keep to a schedule for expressing when you’ve got a toddler and a newborn to look after. But she’s happy, I’m happy and she’s gaining weight well. She’s already out of her newborn clothing and is now wearing 0-3 months.
I know I keep bringing this up, but her sleep schedule is still all over the place. Which is to be expected at this age, but I can’t wait until she’s a bit older and she sleeps a little longer at night.
Right now though I just really happy about how well she’s progressing and just loving all the cuddles I’m currently getting.
