Frey is nine months, yes nine months, I can’t believe it. I thought I would break down this post the same as I did for his six month update.
Starting off with his eating habits, he’s now on 3 meals a day. It’s still very much traditional weaning, mostly due to the fact his hand eye coordination still isn’t the best (if we give him the spoon, the food ends up on his face, in his hair, on his high chair, on the floor and sometimes even in his mouth).
Sleep at the moment, is a bit of a problem. We’re currently going through a bit of sleep regression and struggling to keep a schedule. Also Frey seems to think that 5am is an acceptable wake up time, regardless of when we put him to sleep or how many times he’s been up during the night.
He’s also now crawling, and I mean, properly crawling ( and he’s bloody fast); he can also pull himself up to standing, which is how he normally greets me in the morning, fun.
Im just loving how much more aware of everything going on around him and showing preferences for certain toys and foods. It’s great watching forming his own little opinions on what he likes and doesn’t.
All in all, he’s a happy little man and we just love watching him grow and learn more and more with each passing day.
